Hello Health Care Professionals, Professional Caregivers, and Ministries,
Can you clarify a point? When you direct visitors to "Support Caregivers" does this add to or detract from the effort to sustain the organization? For example the initiative on http://caregivermanual.blog.com/ asks caregivers and care-receivers alike to populate the site with caregiving comments. Most likely this would never happen if it relied on an endorsement from (insert Foundation name here). Correct? So if a visitor wanted to learn more (About) how we should differentiate between sending funds and suggesting ideas, is that the purpose of (the Foundation)? In other words would it make most sense to stop hounding various Agencies about helping to organize the mechanism for a Men's Caregiver Support Group program and just do it ourselves? Hmmm, sounds remarkably like the ITN program.
Look at The Justice Project. I see the wonderful progress made there and think "How could I help change the world?" It can't happen if the desire doesn't exist. It won't happen if nobody joins in on it. It doesn't improve if people aren't willing to try it and make feedback. Sometimes bureaucracies can't get the job done. A lack of support attributed to micromanagement of resources in the wake of failed efforts is an abomination.
